OHEKA Castle Huntington, New York
Welcome to OHEKA CASTLE, the former summer residence and weekend retreat of industrial age banking tycoon Otto Hermann Kahn. Completed in 1919, OHEKA stands majestically in Huntington, Long Island as the largest home ever built in New York State and the second largest in America. At 109,000 square feet, OHEKA is twice the size of the White House and nearly double the size of Hearst Castle. So proud of his great building achievement, Otto Kahn named his mansion with an acronym of his own name – hence the name 'OHEKA.'
