If you are looking for an affordable venue to rent to make your event spectacular you have come to the right place. The Cornerstone for the Springfield Masonic Center was laid in 1924 and the building was completed in 1927. The architect, Howard Dwight Smith also designed Ohio Stadium at The Ohio State University. A sister building to the Springfield Masonic Center is the Masonic Center in Dayton, Ohio. This classic design holds a lot of surprises for any event that you can envision. The Ballroom on the first floor has the ability to seat up to 350 individuals for a banquet meal with ample space for dancing and other activities.
Ball Room Events
In-house food catering is not available but a wide variety of catering vendors are available in the region. The kitchen equipment on site at the Center should provide a good foundation for your caterer to prepare and serve a wonderful meal. Please feel free to contact any of the preferred vendors in the list at the end of this guide. These companies have indicated a willingness to provide you with a great meal with in our facility. A recent decision from the Grand Lodge of Ohio Masons now allows for the service of alcoholic beverages in non-Masonic areas of the Center. These areas are on the first and ground floors. Caterers with Alcohol Vender licenses must provide documentation of their permit and appropriate liability insurance.

Meeting and Ceremony Rooms


If you are looking for a space to hold wedding ceremonies the Center has a variety of rooms that seat from 25 to 350 family and guests. Wedding officiants are available in the Springfield area to assist you if needed. Please refer to the vendor lists at the end of this guide to see a wide range of local business that are interested in helping you with your event.
