About New York Wire Works:
The New York Wire Company building originated in 1888 as the York Wire Cloth Company, and was initially used as a space to produce wire cloth for insect screening. Most recently, the building housed the New York Wire Company, where it used its high speed wire weaving looms to produce aluminum mesh for industrial use. Currently, this expansive property is now called New York Wire Works, and as a home to artists, entrepreneurs, and business owners alike.
