Primarily a wedding venue, the couple is pampered from the time they arrive on their wedding day with two fabulous prep rooms, that are situated far away enough from each other that a chance encounter by the couple should not occur until they are ready to see each other on their wedding day.

Ceremonies have been held in multiple locations on the property. Oak Tree Terrace is a stunning setting between two ancient Live Oak trees with built in stadium seating between them, creating a unique backdrop in a spectacular natural setting. The lawn offers a ceremony backdrop of pond and fountain, barn, redwood trees, or grape vines. The patio offers a garden setting, while indoors provides the comfort of air conditioning or heating.

Dine on the lawn, indoors or on the patio - so many choices! Dance on the patio under the stars, or indoors in the ballroom.

While the property itself has an abundance of beautiful photo spots, considerable thought has been put into creating additional stunning backdrops for photos such as the arch with massive redwood uprights looking down into a shady opening in the trees, or a fruit orchard with adjacent garden overflowing with flowers and vegetables, or vintage trucks, tractor and windmill.

The venue is uniquely designed, providing you with multiple spaces to use for your event. There are three main areas plus one dedicated ceremony location available for your use. You don't have to pick and choose - you get to use all of them! There is the 5000 square foot lawn with pond, which has been used for ceremonies, cocktail hour, or dinner. Easily transition into the patio, with built-in bandstand. This space has been used for ceremonies, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. Easily accessible between the lawn and the patio is the house with ballroom and bar. In addition, for weddings, we have two private "ready rooms" for prep for the happy couple. Situated on 40 acres in the wine country of Mendocino County, Mountain House Estate can accommodate 250 seated at tables outdoors, and 125 indoors. Indoors is spacious enough for 250 people standing.

Mountain House Estate is available for your wedding or event every day of the year! We provide the space, you provide the vendors to make your event uniquely yours. Your wedding day consists of 6-hours for prep and 6-hours for your event. Other events are welcome - please email for more information. Weddings in April through October range between $6,500 and $8,750 for up to 125 people, while November through March ranges between $5,500 and $7,750.
