Under new ownership as of April 1, 2015, Petaluma's own historic Hotel Petaluma is being resurrected as the grand hotel and pride of Sonoma county it once was when it first opened its doors in 1924. Currently undergoing a full-scale renovation and open for business, we are an anchor in the bustling downtown business district, bringing a new level of quality and service to the Petaluma experience for both visitors and locals alike.

Upon completion of the renovation, the 5-story hotel will boast over 90 guest rooms with upscale amenities, a grand lobby with courtyard entrance, and elegant event spaces well-suited for both professional and social gatherings.

The Barber Cellars Tasting Room at Hotel Petaluma
The newest addition to our property is the rustic tasting room for Sonoma County’s own Barber Cellars. Specializing in Zinfandels and oozing with local charm, they offer 50% off tastings for hotel guests and clients.

Hotel Petaluma features a beautiful 1900-square-foot ballroom and a 950-square-foot boardroom. Both rooms feature fully restored hardwood floors and windows, and period architectural detail. The hotel lobby features a fireplace lounge, the perfect spot for unwinding or making new connections.
