Chapel Hill Golf Course and Event Center is a public 18 hole golf course and event venue located southeast of Princeton, in north-central Illinois. Tracing its roots to the original Bureau Valley Country Club (BVCC), this once private course is steeped in tradition and history dating back to 1909, where it began as a simple stop along the Inter-Urban rail line between Princeton and Bureau Junction. It can be best known previously as Hunter's Ridge Golf Course until July 2013 when new ownership took over and changed to Chapel Hill.
We have big plans for the future and that includes putting four bed rooms four bathroom Bed and Breakfast Suites in our historic Clubhouse. We hope to begin construction finished by July 2016. With our picturesque outdoor ceremony options or inside our chapel, our goal is to help you plan the wedding and celebration you have always dreamed about! While we not host weddings, we also do a variety of other events; Golf Outings, Rehearsal Dinners, Holiday Events, Family Reunions, Birthday Parties, Anniversary Parties, and Class Reunions.
