Daes Chapel Clarkesville, Georgia

The history of the Daes Chapel, pronounced "Days", dates back to the 1850's. The Chapel was built in the 1880's and was a staple of the African American Community in Clarkesville, GA, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building was relocated to North Washington St. in Downtown Clarkesville, located between The Square and Pitts Park.
Daes Chapel was restored and re-purposed in 2014 and is now being offered as an Event Venue and Meeting Hall.
