Mountain Laurel Farm is a Historic Farm and new Wedding and Reception Venue as well as Vacation rental for your honeymoon getaway. We also have packages for rehearsal dinners and stayovers with your wedding party after the rehearsal.

This charming historic Colonial home, circa 1914, is nestled on 21 acres in a valley at the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains, bordered by the Chattahoochee National Forest. It's picturesque landscape has been a favorite of many on lookers and was featured in Virgina Slims "You've Come Along Way Baby" campaign. Mountain Laurel Farm was also beloved by of actress Susan Hayward and she stayed here on several occasions while filming the movie "I'd Climb the Highest Mountain". In fact, our bride room in the farmhouse is named after Mrs. Hayward.

Mountain Laurel Farm beckons to the couple looking for the tranquility of country and a unique and rustic yet elegant wedding experience. Just a few miles to Cleveland or Helen, GA, and close to GA 400, you'll find the best of both worlds awaits you. We also have some accommodations for you or your quest from out of town if you prefer.

The 7000 sq. ft. pole barn, built in 1822, and is being converted into the barn wedding of your dreams. Complete with Bride and Groom's rooms, 2 restrooms, bar and prep room, indoor ceremony location as well as numerous outdoor options, such as our garden area in-between the farmhouse and the barn, fire-pit.

The farmhouse is a perfect location for the smaller wedding or rehearsal dinner. While the barn and field can accommodate larger parties. So many options on this beautiful piece of history.
